Mildred Inez Jones Harrist, age 88, of Doddridge, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 14, 2018 at her residence surrounded by family. Mildred was born January 21, 1930 in Troop, Texas to Cecil and Emma Jones. She was retired from Atlanta Memorial Hospital, and a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Doddridge, Arkansas.

She is survived by her husband, T. K. Harrist of Doddridge, Arkansas; daughter, Karen Nelson and husband Vernon of Doddridge, Arkansas; sister, Helen Griffith of Shreveport, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Janette Hall Campanilla of Texarkana, Arkansas, Michael Hall of Doddridge, Arkansas; six great-grandchildren, Anthony Zuniga, Selena Campanilla, Angelica Campanilla, Ana Campanilla, Sergio Campanilla, Isabella Campanilla; two great-great-grandchildren, Amelia Zuniga, Avery Zuniga; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Mount Zion Baptist Church, Doddridge, Arkansas under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service with Bro. Wayne Gray and Bro. Tommy Henderson officiating.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hanner Funeral Service. Interment will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. The family would like to give a special thanks for Mildred’s Caregivers, Billy Faunce, Minnie Fortner, Karen Young, and Dierksen Hospice Caregiver, Wendy Johnson.
