Dorothy Faye Thompson, age 71, of Atlanta, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 21, 2018, in Atlanta, Texas. Dorothy was born February 27, 1947, in Cass, Texas to J.W. and Ruby Thompson. She was a homemaker; a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church; and loved her cats and working word search puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Donna Thompson. She is survived by three brothers, William Thompson and wife Bonnie of Ore City, Texas, Waylon Thompson… Read More » and wife Nancy of Texarkana, Arkansas, Wayne Thompson of Lodi, Texas; four sisters, Barbara McGee of Queen City, Texas, Shirley Campbell of Tyler, Texas, Betty Donley and husband Tommy of Atlanta, Texas, Carolyn Elder and husband Shorty of Bloomburg, Texas; and a number of other relatives and friends. She was a friend and loved by many.

Services will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, June 24, 2018, at Piney Grove Baptist Church, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service, with Bro. Tony Lawson officiating. Visitation will be from 6 pm – 8 pm, Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Hanner Funeral Service.

Interment will be in Laws Chapel Cemetery. Guest registry is available at www.
