Mildred (Boyd) Triplett – Ringo, 99, of Brazil, Indiana passed away on June 2, 2018, while staying at Exceptional Living Center of Brazil. Mildred was born on December 27, 1918 to Homer and Phoebe (Englehart) Boyd in Jackson Township. In 1925 they moved into Brazil.

She was a graduate of Brazil High School in the class of 1937. She was married to Douglas Triplett on December 14, 1940 and they lived in North Terre Haute until his passing in 1989 after 48 years of marriage. Later, she… Read More » married John Ringo on June 6, 1992 and moved to Brazil.

He passed away on July 29, 2014 after 22 years of marriage. She was a member of Fairview Christian Church and 50 year member of the Eastern Star Lodge #80. She was also a member of Spring Creek Home Ec.

Club of Terre Haute. Mildred worked several years in the office of Silverstein Brothers Furniture Store, in Terre Haute and she later worked at M.A.B. Paints as a Bookkeeper and retired in 1979. In addition to her parents Homer and Phoebe Boyd she was preceded in death by 2 husbands: Douglas Triplett and John Ringo; siblings: Zola (Boyd) Johnson, Homer Boyd, and Margaret (Boyd) Andrews.

Mildred is survived by one son Stephen D. Triplett and wife Nancy of Roscoe, Illinois; grandson Ryan Triplett and wife Reneé of Rockton, Illinois; granddaughter Leigh Ann (Triplett) Jackson and husband Nick of Rockton, Illinois; great-grandchildren: Addisyn Jackson, Teagan Triplett, Cole Jackson, Elijah Triplett, and Ainsley Triplett; step-sons Jim Ringo and wife Pam of Brazil and Randy Ringo and wife Teresa of Brazil; beloved nieces and nephew: Linda Reichert and husband Bob of Indianapolis, Bill Boyd and wife Dean of Indianapolis, and Ann (Triplett) Hayes and husband Rick of Brazil as well as several step-grandchildren and extended family members. Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834 on Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 11-1pm.

Services will be at the funeral home, on Thursday, at 1:00pm with Brother Rick Wetnight officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery, in North Terre Haute. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 50 E 91st St #100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
