Obituary for Misty D. Bush (Lewis) Misty D. Bush, 40, of Everett, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 13th, 2018. She was born Thursday, November 24th, 1977 at Memorial Hospital of Bedford County, a daughter of Gail D. (Strait) Lewis of Everett and William R. Lewis, Jr. of Everett. On June 10th, 1996 in Winchester, Virginia she married Wayne E. Bush, Jr., who survives along with their children, Robert Bush, Dakota Bush, Jadyn Bush, and Diana Keller, all of Everett and Sebastian Kelley of Port Matilda, A grandson Matthew Comp, A sister Amanda Lewis and fiancé Justin Bowers of Everett, Two brothers, John Lewis of Everett and William “Will” Lewis and wife Alissa (Housel) Lewis of Everett, and a lifelong friends who was as close to her as her brothers, John H. Kenner and wife Sara (Reyan) Kenner of Breezewood.

A mother-in-law, Mary Ann Kennedy of Altoona, A sister-in-law, Amy Christopher of LaBelle, Florida, Two brothers-in-law, Anthony Bush and Lloyd Bush both of Somerset, And many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and their families. She was preceded in passing away by her grandmother, Alberta Louise “Granny” Ludwick and grand father-in-law Wayne Bush, Sr. Misty was a member of the Community Grace Brethren Church in Everett and studied nursing at Bedford County Technical Center receiving a certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CAN). As a nursing assistant, she worked at the Everett Christian Home and Burnett’s Personal Care Home and also worked as a private duty nurse.

At home and for her family, Misty always gave her best. Be it a holiday, birthday, summer picnic, fishing on the Juniata, or just a day off from work or school, she wanted everyone to have a special day and strived to make the best of every situation. A light hearted and loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she will be truly missed for the joy she brought to so many.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 20th, 2018 at 7:00 pm in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett with Pastor Jeff Peeler officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 pm until the hour of service and share memories online at dallavalle-everett.com, and as an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Misty to the funeral home. Private burial will be held by her family.
