Obituary for Pauline Mackie (Hutson) Pauline Mackie, 93, of Everett, was called to her eternal home on Friday, June 29, 2018. She was born Tuesday, September 16, 1924 in Canute, Oklahoma, a daughter of the late Frank Hutson and Mable (Gunter) Hutson. On December 26th, 1948 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, she married Ken Mackie who passed away on Monday March 2nd, 1998.

She is survived by their children, Cindy Engler and husband Rich, of Pittsburgh, Zane Mackie and wife Patti, of Cumberland, Tim Mackie and wife Kelly, of Cumberland, Pamela Morsberger and husband Dave, of Harrisburg, 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, a sister Nova Lena Reeves and husband Gayle of Texas, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. She was preceded in passing away by 3 sisters, Lucille Turner, Easter Matthews, Maxine Weems, and 3 brothers J.W. Hutson, Gunter Hutson, and Kenneth Hutson. Mrs. Mackie was a member of the Clear Creek Brethren in Christ Church, and with her great faith, she and her husband Ken served as pastors for 14 years at the Spring Hope Brethren In Christ Church in Fishertown.

A graduate of Hammon High School in Hammon, Oklahoma, Pauline and her husband owned and operated Mackie’s Sewing Center at their home in Everett, with 3 other locations in Keyser and Martinsburg, West Virginia and Cumberland, Maryland. With a smile on her face and a great story to tell, spending time with Pauline was always a joy. She was dear to everyone she met, and will be remembered for the love and learning she shared with her family, friends, church family and patrons.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 3rd, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Clear Creek Brethren in Christ Church with Pastor John Geyer officiating. Friends may call at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett, on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, on Tuesday at the Church from 10:00 am until the hour of service and share memories online at www. dallavalle-everett.com.

Burial will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery, Roaring Spring. Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Pauline to the Clear Creek Brethren In Christ Church, 357 Eshelman Road, Everett, PA 15537.
