Funeral services for Mitchell Dean Garrison will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Davis with Reverends Jeff Flowers and Lance Whaley officiating. Interment will follow at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis. Mitchell was born June 13, 1982 in Ardmore, OK to James D. & Sandra G. (Blankenship) Garrison.

He spent several years working for Sooner Foods Grocery in Davis; as well as for Pitmon’s Snak-Shak of Davis, Dollar General Warehouse and Temp Services of Ardmore. Mitchell was an avid sports fan. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching OU and Davis Wolves football, as well as, going fishing.

He was anxiously awaiting the birth of his first grandchild, Hayven Nevaeh. Mitchell was a baptized member of the Immanuel Baptist Church of Davis. Survivors include his wife Missy; five children, Mitchell, Jr., James Keith, Jasmin, Isaac and Avery; mother, Sandra Garrison of Davis; father, James Garrison & wife Selena of Davis; maternal grandparents, Jim & Linda Schultz of Davis; paternal grandmothers, Elaine Robinson of Davis and Carol Garrison of Mill Creek; two sisters, Gayla Smathers of Dougherty and Courtney Garrison of Davis; two brothers, Matt Garrison and Dakota Garrison, both of Davis; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mitchell was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jack Blankenship and his paternal grandfather, Kenneth Garrison. Serving as pallbearers will be Colby Horton, Peter Ottersen, Rowdy McKinley, Levi Thomas, Ian England, Andrew Curtis and Bubba Mann.
