Funeral services for Rita C. (Crumb) England will be held 2:00PM, Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church of Davis with Pastor Steve Harshaw officiating. Interment will follow at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis. Rita was born January 26, 1933 in Hickory, OK to the late Albert “Pappy” and Cora (Bradley) Crumb.

She died Thursday, October 18, 2018, in Davis, at the age of 85 years, 8 months and 22 days. Rita and W.A. England were married on September 25, 1949. … Read More » To this union four children were born, William Brian, Judy Ann, Susan Ruth and Michael Lee.

Rita grew up in Davis, moving from Hickory when she was in the first grade. She was a 1951 graduate of Davis High School. She spent 12 years working as a Certified Medications Aide at the Burford Manor Nursing Home in Davis.

The last 8 years of her career was spent working at the Sulphur Veterans Center. Rita was all about her family. Each one held their own special place in her heart.

No matter what event a grandchild was participating in, she was there in the crowd cheering them on. Rita was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed mowing her yard and tending to her flowers in her spare time. Her other hobbies included taking pictures and dancing.

Rita was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Davis, where she devoted 30+ years teaching Sunday school. Survivors include one daughter, Judy Donaho; two sons, Brian England & wife Carolyn and Mike England, all of Davis; seven grandchildren, Shane England, Justin England, Ian England, Rennie England, Willie Dougan, Waylon Steelman and Bradley Mattison; 16 great-grandchildren; as well as one sister, Kathy Haworth of Davis and one brother Alfred Crumb of Roff. In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Dougan; grandson, Richie Steelman; one sister, Carol Williams and two brothers, Calvin and Terry Crumb.
