She was born on April 7, 1941 in Ahualoa, Hawaii. She was a homemaker and U.S. Army veteran.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. on Thursday (Mar. 28, 2019) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Hilo; Celebration of Life at 10 a.m.; urn burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery #2. Casual attire.

Survived by, daughter, Siara (Marc Nishimura) Acdal; brother, Clifford (Jane) Matsumura; sister, Fay (David) Wung; sister-in-law, Dora “Debbie” Matsumura; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
