Nancy C. Deitrick, 81, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 30, 2018, while under the care of Genesis Hospice at the Morrison House. Nancy was born August 7, 1936 in Zanesville. She is the daughter of the late Calvin and Doris (Peyton) Corns.

Nancy was a graduate of the Bethesda Hospital School of Nursing. She was an R.N. at Bethesda Hospital and worked for Dr. Harry Powelson. She was also a surgical nurse at the Cleveland Clinic.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Lewis B. “Sonny” Deitrick whom she married on October 15, 1960; her four sons, James (Diane) Deitrick of Zanesville, John Deitrick of Nashport, David (Annette) Deitrick of Zanesville, and Joseph (Karen) Deitrick of Canton; her four grandchildren, Jacob, Sadie, Misty, and Michelle and her sisters, Marilyn Cornette of Zanesville and Theresa Vasquez of Florida and her brother, Gerald Corns of Zanesville. In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by a brother, Denzil Corns. Visitations will be 11 to 1 pm on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls, where the funeral will be 1 pm with Rev.

Phil Walker officiating. She will be laid to rest in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
