Nancy Jaynes Coulton passed away on May 30, 2018, at her home at Deerfield Episcopal Retirement Community in Asheville, NC. Mrs. Coulton was born on December 19, 1927, in Los Angeles, CA, and was the daughter of the late Oliver Brown Jaynes and Frankie Dale Jaynes of Pasadena, CA. She was the wife of the late John F. Coulton.

She attended the Westridge School and graduated from Finch College in New York City. She married John Frederick Coulton on November 12, 1948, in Palm Springs, CA, and they lived in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and Cashiers, NC, before moving to Asheville, NC in 2008.

She is survived by her daughter, Dale Coulton Rizzo and husband, Frank, of Atlanta, GA; her son, John David Coulton and wife, Carolina, of Nashville, TN; her daughter, Joyce Helen Coulton of Puerta Vallarta, Mexico; her sister, Janet Shine and husband, Frank, of Boca Raton, FL; her four grandchildren, Sheila Garber of Atlanta, GA, Russell Rizzo of Denver, CO, Andrew Coulton of Nashville, TN, and Alexa Coulton of Nashville, TN; and her two great grandchildren, Sarah Garber and Kate Garber of Atlanta, GA.
