Obituary for Nancy Criswell (Dovci) Nancy L. Criswell, 73, of Burnham, passed away at 8:05 a.m. on Monday July 9, 2018 at her home. Born November 25, 1944 in Belleville, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Marion (Hackett) Dovci. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Christian Swanger.

Nancy will be remembered and missed by her loving husband, Chester James Criswell, Jr., whom she married on June 29, 1962, children, Michele Garland and companion Joe Kauffman of Mifflintown, and James Criswell and wife Robin of Belleville, siblings, Janet Snyder of Wyoming, Carol Stitt and husband Ken of Newport, and Linda Pennebaker of Lewistown, Grandchildren, Alicia Forry and husband Travis of Mifflintown, Tony Garland and wife Carrie of Port Royal, and Jami Criswell of Reedsville and Michaela Criswell of Allentown, and great-grandchildren, Adalyn Forry, Derek Swanger and Blake Willi. Nancy was a member of the Lewistown Alliance Church. She loved decorating Christmas Trees, in fact, Nancy had many around her home throughout the holiday season.

She was truly an amazing person who was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A funeral service in loving memory of Nancy will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday July 13, 2018 at The Barr Funeral Home Inc. and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown with Rev.

John Looney officiating. There will be a viewing held at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will take place in Locust Run Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Nancy’s memory are respectfully encouraged to, Lewistown Alliance Church, 50 Hudson Ave. Lewistown PA 17044, or Four Diamonds Fund, 1249 Cocoa Ave #115, Hershey PA 17033.
