Obituary for Nancy Lynn Fife Nancy Fife of Benicia passed away quietly at her home on Wednesday, September 18th. She was born in Oakland and grew up in Walnut Creek, she was full of joy when she and her husband purchased their first home in Benicia 43 years ago. She worked in the banking industry in various positions for 25+ years, ultimately retiring in 2009.

Nancy loved camping, swimming and cooking. She was an artist who expressed her talent with oil painting. She was a fan of the 49ers and enjoyed watching NASCAR with her husband on weekends.

Her primary joy was being a grandmother and spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren. She enjoyed attending church at Northgate Christian Fellowship and she looked forward to service when she was not caring for her terminally ill mother. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Lawrence “Larry” Fife Jr.; daughters Jody (Manuel Atkinson) Fife, Melissa (Chris) Palwick, son Daniel Roller, grandchildren Aliyah, Andre, and Adryana, her best friend of 50 years Janet Burroghs Alhin, and her dog Oreo.

Services will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2018 4:00 p.m. at Northgate Christian Fellowship, 2201 Lake Herman Road, Benicia. Burial will be private. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Nancy Lynn Fife please visit our Sympathy Store.
