Obituary for Nancy Peck Nancy Jane Marshall Peck, 80, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. Nancy was born January 3, 1938 in Nashville. She was the only child of Howard and Helen Marshall.

She moved to Eagleville when she was a young child and graduated from Eagleville High School. She attended college at Middle Tennessee State University and the University of Tennessee, where she was a member of the UT Singers. Although she has lived in many different states, most of her years were spent in Springfield so that she would be nearest to her family.

Nancy dearly loved having a large family and especially loved her time spent watching and helping with their many activities, sports games, dance recitals, concerts and plays. She was proud of all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was known as “Nana” and many friends knew her as “Soccer Nana”.

She also had a heart for animals of all kinds, kept the birds well fed and rescued many dogs and cats over the years. A true warrior at heart, she loved fiercely and would drop everything to help someone in need. Her family will miss all the laughs and adventures they shared together.

Nancy is survived by her 5 children; Melody Noah, of Hilton Head SC, Jan Bagwell (Greg), of Hendersonville TN, Lorrie Bellar (Don), of Lakeland FL, Kim Abraham (Martin), of Springfield TN and William Peck III (Cori) of Daphne, AL. Her 19 Grandchildren; MaryLu Noah-Dixon, Margaret Noah Conner, Meredith Noah, Amanda Bagwell Williams, Nikki Bagwell Basnett, Bobbi Bagwell Smith, Emmi Bagwell, Jordan Bellar, Mason Bellar Wilkerson, Blake Bellar, Preston Abraham, Garrett Abraham, Nolan Abraham, Liam Abraham, Lexi Abraham, Zimin Gu, Ashlae Sympson (John), Rachel Peck, and Emory Peck.
