Nancy DeFelice, 85 of Jersey City, entered into eternal life on December 20th at Jersey City Medical Center. Born August 4, 1933 in Jersey City to the late Samuel Azzarello & Jean Castaldi, she was a lifelong resident. Nancy worked for many years as a Teacher’s Aide with the Jersey City Public School System.

She was a resident of UNICO Towers, downtown and enjoyed playing Bingo and socializing with her friends in the building. Nancy was a member of the Holy Rosary Seniors Group and a past Lector for the Church. She was a creative writer, and would often write poems for her family and friends.

She is the beloved mother of Julie Ann Kenny, Nicholas DeFelice (Christine), Gina Marto (Frank), Karen Vogt (Robert) & Theresa DeFelice (Danny), loving sister of Roseann Pagnetti & the late Russell & Gerald Azzarello, cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 23rd from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Co., 3205 Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City (For GPS use 14 Stagg Street). Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, December 26th at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
