Nancy R. Taylor, Kaukauna, age 70 Nancy was born June 4, 1948, to the late Hollis and Belle (Vandiver) Lichtenfeld. Nancy was a kindergarten and 1st grade teacher in Wyoming, Missouri, and Wisconsin, finishing her career in Green Bay. In 1971, she married Charles Wallis, who preceded her in death in the year 2000.

In 2003, Nancy married her longtime friend, Jim Taylor. The couple resided in Kaukauna for their married life, described as “our second springtime”. Nancy was passionate in her love for cats.

She also loved to sing and to grow plants. She is survived by her husband, Jim Taylor, Kaukauna; a son, Rev. Jonathan Wallis, Fort Worth, Texas; a daughter, Anna (Zachariah) Moore, Springfield, Missouri; her grandson, Gavyn Moore, Springfield, Missouri; half-brother, Jimmy Carl Lichtenfeld, Independence, Missouri; a sister, Donna (Donald) Poiter, Centralia, Illinois; numerous nieces and nephews, and close friend Janet Weisler.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Balaz. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 309 Desnoyer St., Kaukauna with Bishop Michael Olson presiding. Friends may call directly at the church from 11:00 am until the time of mass.

Burial will take place at the parish cemetery. Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna, is assisting the family. (920) 766-2099 www.
