Obituary of Nancy Hardin Nancy L. Hardin, 74, Marion, passed away at 9:08 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at Marion General Hospital. A lifelong resident of Marion, Nancy was born on October 13, 1944, to the late Edward Louis and Mary (Traylor) Ryder. In April of 1964, she married her loving husband, Edward T. Hardin, Sr., and he survives.

Nancy attended Marion High School and was a homemaker throughout her life. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, shopping, and working puzzles. She was a kind, sweet woman who was dearly loved by her family and by her church friends at Friendship Baptist Church, where she was a member.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Edward; son, Edward T. Hardin, Jr., Marion; brother, Timothy Ryder, Marion; sister, Janie (Bob) Taylor, Converse; nephews, Christopher Ryder, Marion, and Ned Smith, Marion; and niece, Melanie (fiancé George Westerfield) Chadd, Marion. Her son, Steven Earl Hardin; sister, Sally Long; and sister-in-law, Guadalupe Ryder, also preceded her in death. The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with Nancy’s funeral service beginning at 12 noon on Friday, November 9, 2018, at Friendship Baptist Church, 1921 W. Spencer Ave.

, Marion, IN. Pastor Bruce Koontz will be officiating with burial following at Grant Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be directed to Friendship Baptist Church, 1921 W. Spencer Ave.
