Mentor – Naomi Davis Strayer, 92, passed on to a new life on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Symphony at Mentor Assisted Living with her daughter by her side. Naomi had been living in Chagrin Falls, OH and died of natural causes brought on by a broken hip. She was a member of The Methodist Church in Freedom, PA and attended Geneva College and University of Pittsburgh.

She retired after many years at British Petroleum as an Executive Secretary, and was Freedom, PA’s first Councilwoman. She was preceded in death by her brothers Bill, Don and Ken Davis, and is survived by her brother, Dr. Richard O. Davis and his wife Jean of Edinboro, PA; her daughter Debra C. Perrin of Solon, OH; grandson Matthew Perrin and wife Sara of Mayfield Heights; granddaughter Cathleen ‘Katie’ Perrin of Seattle, WA; and two great-grandsons Aidan and Grant. A private graveside service held on Thursday, June 28 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
