West Columbia – It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected death of our beloved Nicholas “Taylor” Watford on December 27, 2018 at the young age of 28. Taylor was born on April 27, 1990 to Jimmy Watford, Jr. and Toni Fuller. He was a life-long resident of West Columbia.

He attended White Knoll High School and Brookland Cayce High School; graduating from Brookland Cayce in 2008. He attended Midlands Technical College and Winthrop University. Taylor was an over-the-top Gamecock fan, and most often would be seen wearing his garnet and black and sporting a Gamecock logo.

Growing up, he was very active in football and baseball. He attended NewSpring Church, and was so proud that he had accepted his Lord and Savior in Baptism in January 2015. Taylor loved being around family and friends; he was competitive, a jokester, and always the smile and personality that would light up the room.
