Obituary of Nicholas Gaudino Nicholas L. Gaudino, 93, of Latrobe, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at his home. He was born October 27, 1924, in Latrobe, PA, a son of the late James and Florence (Bigo) Gaudino. Nicholas was a veteran of World War II where he served in the 17th Airborne of the United States Army.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Latrobe Steel Co. for over 49 years. He was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church where he was an active volunteer. He volunteered at Bingo for Holy Family, the Senior Center, and the American Legion, as well as served as a volunteer at St. Vincent De Paul.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Larry Gaudino, his brother, James Gaudino, and his son-in-law, Dale McCreery. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lois M. (Fink) Gaudino, and a daughter, Marie McCreery. Honoring Nicholas’ wishes, services and interment will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association at www. heart.org. The Hartman-Graziano Funeral Home in Latrobe is assisting the family with arrangements.
