Noel L. Martin, 80 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at JFK Medical Center, Edison with his family by his side. Noel was born and raised in Balaclava, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, West Indies. He worked as a Land Survey before relocating to Perth Amboy 44 years ago.

After relocating, Noel began working for the Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy in the Maintenance Department. He retired in 2004 when he became ill. Noel was a very friendly, loving caring and funny person.

You were sure to get a laugh when you were around him. He was a parishioner of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Perth Amboy. He is preceeded in death by his loving father of Devon Martin; dear son of Herbert Richard and Lurleen Martin; and a sister Rema Blake.

Noel leaves behind his devoted wife of 46 years Eileen Verona Henry Martin, who he called his “bread & butter”; beloved father of Anthony, Patricia, Dean, Annmarie, Marrilene, Shawn, Dawn Martin and Carleen Mason; dear brother of Earl Martin, Madge Tulloch, brother ~ in ~ law of Veronica White, Patricia White, Maureen Henry, Irvin Henry, Christine Henry ~ Grant and her husband William, Winston Blake; adored grandfather of 17 and great ~ grandfather of 6; cherished uncle of many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11 am at the St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 183 Rector Street, Perth Amboy with the Rev. AnneMarie Jefferies officiating.

Interment will follow at Alpine Cemetery. Visiting is on Friday from 9 ~ 11 am.
