Madeleine “Lynn” R. Kurtiak ( nee Hydo ), 59 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Centra State Medical Center, Freehold, with her family by her side. Lynn was born in San Francisco, California and came to Perth Amboy 58 years ago. She was employed by the Perth Amboy Board of Education for 23 years as a Cafeteria worker.

Lynn loved spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Elizabeth ( nee Kasmer ) Hydo and Magdalena ( nee Campos ). She is survived by her beloved children Crystal Kurtiak ~ Rodriguez, Michael Jr. and his wife Taimi, Cheri Kurtiak ~ Scheid, Neil and James Kurtiak; her companion Michael Kurtiak Sr.; sister of Richard Hydo, Maria Sodemann & Karen Clark; adored grandmother of Kayla and Justin Rodriguez, Jacob Colon, Kylie Reyes, Joshua Scheid, James Jr., Layla and Avery Kurtiak and the “Kali Monster”.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 6:30 pm at the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy. Interment will be private. Visiting is on Monday from 4 ~ 8 pm.
