Carmen Toro Figueroa, 81 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Care One @ East Brunswick with her family by her side. Carmen was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and came to Perth Amboy 53 years ago. She was a homemaker and was proud to spend time with family and friends.

She was a parishioner of the Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish at LaAsuncion Church She is preceded in death by her devoted husband Severo Figueroa, Sr.; cherished mother of Mayra Rodriguez; loving daughter of Jose Torrez and Catalina Velez. She is survived by her beloved children Rolando and his wife Milly Lopez, Santos Lopez, Severo Jr. and Lucy Figueroa; dear sister of 2 sisters and 2 brothers; adored grandmother of 9 and great ~ grandmother of 11. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 10 am at the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy.

Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery, Woodbridge. Visiting is on Tuesday from 2 ~ 4 & 7 ~ 9 pm.
