Maria de Carmen Alba, 62 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at her residence with her family by her side. Maria was born and raised in La Vega, Dominican Republic. She came to Perth Amboy many years ago.

She was employed by various manufacturing companies through out the Middle area for over 28 years as a laborer. She retired in 2006. She is preceded in death by her parents Miguel Alba and Maria Hernandez.

Maria is survived by her devoted sons David Guzman, Jose Luiz Alba, Osvaldo Alba and his wife Griselda Reyes and Jose Miguel Tineo; loving sister of Luz Maria, Catalina, Domingo, Ramon, Milagros, Juan, Antica, Soledad, Altagracia “Mary”, Altagracia “Carmen”, Antonio and Miguel Alba; adored grandmother of 4 and cherished aunt of many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 10 am at the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy. Interment will follow at Alpine Cemetery.

Visiting is on Wednesday from 5 ~ 9 pm.
