Rose “Babci” Kosturski ( nee Masarik ), 97 of Edison, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Nursing home, Woodbridge with her family by her side. Babci was a lifelong resident of Perth Amboy. She was employed by Owens ~ Illinois, Edison as an assembler for over 52 years.

She retired in 1986. She was an avid New York Yankees and Notre Dame University Football fan, a member of the Hopelawn, Piscataway and Edison Seniors Clubs, also a parishioner of the Saint John Paul II Parish at St. Stephens Church. She is preceded in death by her devoted husband Walter, her son Joseph Kosturski; loving daughter of Martin and Magdalena ( nee Sugra ) Masarik; dear sister of 7 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her beloved daughters Barbara Curry and Denise and her husband William Orcutt, daughter ~ in ~ law Rosemary Kosturski; adored sister of Dorothy Kijowski; cherished grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 8 great ~ grandchildren. We begin to leave on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 9:15 am from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy for a Funeral Mass at Saint John Paul II Parish at St. Stephens Church at 10 am. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Sayreville.

Visiting is on Sunday from 2 ~ 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in the memory of Rose can be made to St. Joseph’s Nursing Home, 3 St. Joseph Terrace, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
