Peter Stepash, 72 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at his residence with his family by his side. Peter was born in Offingen, Germany and came to Perth Amboy 69 years ago. He was employed by Garden State Parkway Authority for 43 years and he retired in 2008.

He is preceded in death by his devoted wife Marion ( nee Papp ) Stepash, who passed away in 2000; dear son of Joseph and Helen ( nee Wilkes ) Stepash; his beloved mother ~ in ~ law Elvira Papp; his sister ~ in ~ law Linda Papp. He leaves behind his loving daughter Joy Stepash; he is the beloved brother~in ~ law of Joan and Benito “Ben” Palmerini; cherished uncle of Daniel Palmerini, Shawn Papp and David Stumpe. A Divine Liturgy will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 10 am at St. Michael’s Byzantine Church, Perth Amboy.

Interment will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy.
