Irene Zavlacky, 96 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018 at Alameda Care Center, Perth Amboy. Irene was a lifelong resident of Perth Amboy. A graduate of Perth Amboy High School, she would attend Perth Amboy General Hospital’s School of Nursing.

She was employed by the Perth Amboy Board of Education as a school nurse in Shull School for over 20 years. She retired in 1981. A parishioner of the Most Holy name of Jesus Parish at Holy Trinity Church.

She is preceeded in death by her loving parents Joseph & Anna Zavlacky; dear sister of 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Adored aunt of many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 10 am at the Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish at Holy Trinity Church.

Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy.
