Jose de Leon Pimentel, 84 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2018 at Amboy Care Center, Perth Amboy with his family by his side. Jose was born and raised in La Vega, Dominican Republic. He was a professional baseball player for the Licey team in the Dominican Winter League playing third base for many years.

He worked for various manufacturing companies in the Middle area. He loved spending time with family and friends especially talking and watching baseball. He is preceded in death by his parents Amable de Leon and Dominga Pimentel.

He is survived by his many brothers and sisters; adored uncle of many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 9 am at the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy with Rev. Nicolas F. Norena officiating.

Interment will follow at Forest Green Memorial Park, Marlboro Township. Visiting is on Friday from 7 ~ 9 pm.
