Angel Bienvendo Veras, 84 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy with his family by his side. Angel was born and raised in Salcedo, Dominican Republic before moving to Perth Amboy many years ago. He served his country in the Dominican Army and received the rank of Lieutenant.

He was employed by Aeropostale, South River for 10 years as a Production Worker. He retired in 2010. He is preceeded in death by his loving parents Augustine & Laura ( nee Almonte ) Veras; dear brother of 5 brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his devoted companion Adriana Mendez; beloved father of Bienvenida and her husband Eddie Valentin, Augustina and her husband Renan Carreno, Angelo Veras and his wife Meagan Harth. Angel and his wife Elizabeth, Miguel, Laura, Gladys, Belkys, Angelo, Naomi Veras; adored grandfather of 25 and great ~ grandfather of 10; cherished uncle of many nieces, nephews and cousins. We begin to leave on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 9:15 am from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy for a funeral mass at 10 am at Our Lady of Hungary Church.

Interment will be private. Visiting is on Friday from 5 ~ 9 pm.
