Norman L. Gould was born in Warwick, Maryland on January 23, 1942, the son of the late Rodney Gould, Sr. and Christine Mae Garnett Gould. He departed this life on May 24, 2019, at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware. Norman, affectionately called “Toot” by family and friends, worked as a truck driver for the Salvation Army.

In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by a sister Beatrice Yvonne Eafford and a brother Robert Darnell Hayes. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving companion of 33 years, Karen E. Johnson (Camper); 2 brothers, Rodney Gould, Jr. and LeRoy Coleman; 2 sisters, Deborah Hayes and Roxanne Hayes; 2 nephews, Oscar Eafford and Raymond Hayes; 2 nieces, Patricia Eafford and Shawntele Hooten; other family and friends. His Celebration of Life Service will be 12 Noon on Friday, June 7, 2019, at Congo Funeral Home, 2317 N. Market Street, Wilmington, DE 19802; with viewing from 10 am – 12 Noon.

His interment will be in Silverbrook Cemetery immediately following the service.
