M. Patricia Kelly Derick, age 80, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully with her daughter and son by her side, on Monday, May 27, 2019. She was born in Hyannis, Cape Cod, MA, daughter of the late Charles P. Kelly, Jr. and M. Helen (Hay) Kelly. Pat was a real estate agent for over 30 years.

She also volunteered as a scout leader for both the cub and girl scouts and also worked with the St. Mark’s High School Band Boosters for many years. She is survived by her children, Daniel Derick (Patricia) and Deborah Mayhart (James, III); and her granddaughters, Erin and Meghan Derick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Friday, May 31, 2019 at St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington, DE 19808, where family and friends may visit beginning at 10:00am.

Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Pat’s memory can be made to VITAS Hospice, 100 Commerce Drive, Suite 302, Newark, DE 19713 or to the John Clatch Memorial Fund at St. Mark’s High School, 2501 Pike Creek Road, Wilmington, DE 19808.
