Pamela Surles Gehrer June 26, 1968 – December 12, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Pamela Ann Surles Gehrer, 50, of Yates Center, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri. Pam was born June 26, 1968, in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Leon and Margaret (Wells) Morrison. She spent her early years in Los Angeles before moving to Boise, Idaho, as a teenager.

In 1995 she moved to Yates Center. On December 15, 2013, Pam and her long-time companion, Scott Gehrer, were married in Yates Center. Pam had been employed at Russell Stover in Iola and later at Hi-Lo Industries in Chanute.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Morrison. She leaves her husband, Scott, of the home in Yates Center; three daughters, Krystal Hollenbeck and husband Bryson, Marque Surles, and Amber Surles, all of Boise, Idaho; a step-son, Russell Gehrer of Yates Center; four grandchildren, Jax, Stella, Zander, and Zeke; Her mother, Margaret Smith of Yates Center; her brother, Doug Morrison and wife Pam of Milford, Kansas; her sister, Tracy Profit and husband Dale of Boise, Idaho; many other relatives and friends. Cremation is planned.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Yates Center. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House and may be sent in care of Campbell Funeral Home, PO Box 188, Yates Center, KS 66783.
