Patricia Ann Stalter, 80, of Clarksville passed away suddenly at her home on February 17, 2019. She was born on September 4, 1938 in Ionia to Howard E. and Ida C. (Witmar) Stiles. Patricia was known as Granny to all that loved her.

Granny loved spending time with her family at the cabin in Big Bay. She also inherited a love of gardening from her dad. The family will always remember her baking especially her cakes, pies and noodles along with the afghans she made for each of them.

She will be dearly missed by: husband of 63 years Lyle Stalter, children; Phillip (Brenda) Stalter, Laurie (Jim) Overbeck, Donna (Dave) Quillan and Alan (Kim) Stalter, grandchildren; Nathaniel (Katy) Stalter, Rhianna (Matt) Misner, Wendy Overbeck, Shannon (Chad) Perkins, Jeremy (Louise) Overbeck, Lindsey (Eric) Possehn, Andy (Jessica) Quillan, Thomas (Abby) Stalter, Jamie Stalter, Katherine and Lizzy Wilcox, 13 great-grandchildren, siblings Charlie Stiles and Dale “Butch” (Carole) Stiles, In-laws Larry Stalter, Dale (Margaret) Stalter and Carole (Dave) Emory. Preceding her in death are: her parents, infant son Brian, her sister Joyce Yaw and brother Howard “Bud” Stiles Jr. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and Memorial is planned for the spring. Memorials are suggested to the Clarksville Library.
