Obituary for Patricia Dugger Vines Mrs. Patricia Dugger Vines of Butler, TN went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 1, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Polly Jane and Glenn Dugger. Patricia was a devoted wife and mother and matriarch to an extraordinary family.

Patricia was equally committed to the children of East Tennessee serving as a social worker and making a meaningful difference in the lives of children in this regional community for thirty-one years. Patricia’s impact will be felt through generations to come. Her legacy will always be of a great and extraordinary wife and mother; her grandchildren and the lasting and meaningful impact that she has had on the children, the downtrodden and those less fortunate in this community.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Laura Bunting, Sarah Myatt, Connie Miller and her brother Clayton Dugger. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Glenn Vines of 46 years; her son Cody Vines and daughter-in-law Kay Vines; her son Glenn Vines Jr. and daughter-in-law Stephany Vines; her grandson, Ethan Vines; her beloved sisters, Glenda Greene, Thelma Blankenship and Sue Bunton; a beloved brother Herb Arnold and her very special friends, Pam and Debbie and many nieces and nephews. Also, her very special friends and co-workers at the Department of Children’s Services and the Johnson City Juvenile Court.
