Patricia J. Goodnight, 80, of Reynolds, Ill. passed away Thursday September 20, 2018 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 24, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 801 W. Edgington St., Reynolds.

Burial will be at Reynolds Cemetery, Reynolds. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Reynolds United Methodist Church Sunday School Program or Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.

Patricia was born May 26, 1938 in Goldfield, Iowa, a daughter of Henry and Ethel Mae Abbott Schnell. She married Billy R. Goodnight on February 6, 1954 in Galesburg, Ill. He preceded her in death on July 11, 2018.

Patricia will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her favorite times were spent with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Reynolds United Methodist Church.

She taught Sunday School and volunteered at many church suppers and other church activities for over 30 years. Patricia was a dedicated Avon representative for over 30 years. Surviving are her children (and spouses), Deborah (Richard) Farnsworth, Coal Valley, Elizabeth (John) Goodnight-Kincaid, Bettendorf, Cathy (Patrick) Fowler, Reynolds, and Jeff (Amy) Goodnight, Reynolds; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; sisters, DeAnna (Robert) Guss, Moline, Judy Schnell, Geneseo, and Carolyn (Dean) Parker, Moline; brother, Duane Schnell, California; brother-in-law, John (Judy) Goodnight, Coal Valley; and numerous nieces, nephews and additional family.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and son, Steven Goodnight.
