Lowellville – Patricia Jean Harkleroad, 55, died suddenly May 28, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Patty was born June 6, 1962 in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Nancy Barnhart Rotz. She was a 1980 graduate of Lowellville High School.

She worked at Serex Vending Company for 10 years, before raising her family. She was a member of Lowellville United Methodist Church. Patty loved vacationing with her family in Bethany, Delaware.

Some of her passions were cooking, baking, and sharing her recipes. Patty was also an avid Cleveland sports fan. Patty gave a gift even after her passing being a proud organ donor.

She is survived by her husband, Edwin L. Harkleroad Jr., whom she married May 1, 1982; two daughters, Heather Jean Peterson of Lowellville and Ashley Harkleroad of Lowellville; one son, Edwin L. Harkleroad III of Lowellville; one sister, Karen (Don) Geras of Youngstown,; one brother, John D. (Lisa) Rotz, Jr. of Campbell; two grandchildren, Madisyn and Nicholas Peterson; mother and father-in-law, Edwin L. and Charlotte Harkleroad Sr. of Lisbon; two brother-in-laws, David (Rhonda) Harkleroad and Glen Harkleroad; and nieces and nephews, Justin, Timothy, Andrew, Tyler, Haylie, Michelle, and Sam. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held at Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville, Thursday at 7:00 PM with Pastor Ken Hoover officiating.

Friends and family will be received 5:00 PM to 6:45 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in c/o Becker Funeral Homes, 11 Spring St., Struthers, OH 44471 to help with expenses. Condolences may be sent at www.
