Obituary for Patricia “Pat” Kampschaefer Kampschaefer, Patricia “Pat” (Hardman), 79, of Louisville passed away June 23, 2018. Pat was born March 29, 1939 to William Lyle and Betty Hardman. She was a 1957 graduate of Loretto High School, a retired employee of JC Penny’s where she worked in the children’s department for 25 years, and a member of St. Denis/Mary Queen of Peace parish for 57 years.

She was preceded in death by her brother Lyle Hardman. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 57 years, Deacon Robert “Bob” Kampschaefer; daughters, Karen Kampschaefer and Theresa Thomas (Larry); son, Michael Kampschaefer (Leslie); grandchildren, Austin, Hailey and Jonathan Kampschaefer and Jackson Thomas; sister, Betty Stoltz and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to caregiver Kelly Perryman, for her commitment and dedication to their mother’s care over the last two years and to the nurses and staff at the Palliative unit at Baptist Hospital East.

Her Mass of Resurrection will be 11:00 a.m. at Mary Queen of Peace, 4005 Dixie Highway, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 – 8 p.m. Thursday at Ratterman Keenan Southwest Chapels. The family asks that expressions of sympathy be made to the Alzheimers Association of Louisville or to the Palliative care Unit at Baptist Hospital East in Patricia’s memory.
