OBITUARY Patrick A Wiegandt September 14, 1944 – December 19, 2018 Patrick Anthony Wiegandt, born Sept 14th, 1944 and died on December 19th, 2018. He was a USPS letter carrier for 35 years, Vietnam Veteran, Kentucky Colonel, Eucharistic minister. He coached baseball for 50 years at St. Polycarp/Andrews, Bishop David High School, Holy Cross High School and Bellarmine University, he was also a scout for Cleveland Indians where he was simply known as “Coach Wig”.

He was Coach of the year 2017 when he won his first and only Holy Cross High School state baseball championship. In 2017, He was inducted in to the Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Hall off Fame. He is Survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sandy.

Two sons, Scott(Danielle), Bryan(holly) 5 grand children Bailey, Grace, Caleb, Callahan, and Cole. Brother in law Jim Lawson(Susan) nephew Derrick and niece Jennifer. Also we don’t want to forget his dog Mickey Mantle and numerous “Sons” that he coached over 50 years.
