Patsy Ann Tyler, 70, of North Vernon passed away at 7:35 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus. Born November 15, 1948, in Carrollton, Kentucky, Patsy was the daughter of Joseph and Roberta Penn Danner. Patsy worked as a custodian for Decatur Plastics from October 2017 until present and had previously worked one year for ResCare and 11 years for D.S.I both in North Vernon.

She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in North Vernon. Patsy enjoyed playing bingo and fishing. Survivors include her son, Orville (Sandy) Ashcraft III, of Seymour; daughter, Roberta (Rick) Forwalt of Madison; grandchildren, Jennifer (Justin) Smith of Columbus, Stacy Forwalt and Ricky Forwalt both of Madison, Jamie Ashcraft and Justin (Harley) Thompson both of Seymour and Amy McIntosh of Scipio; great-grandchildren, Trey Forwalt, Maddie Forwalt and Randy Smith, all of Columbus, Kevin Aldridge of Madison, MaKayla Dean of Lexington, Kentucky, Phillip Dean, Chase Sharp, Jackson Thompson and Scarlett Thompson, all of Seymour.

She was preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. Caleb Reynolds officiating.

Family and Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery.
