Obituary for Paul Preston Paul C. Preston 1925-2018 Paul Preston, 92, of Grayson went home to be with his Heavenly Father Sunday, June 10, 2018 at his residence. He was born November 16, 1925 in Louisa, KY a son of the late Curtis and Augusta Childress Preston. He was a member and elder of the Olive Hill Church of Christ for many years.
His hobbies were camping, playing bluegrass music and enjoying fellowship with relatives and friends. He was a retired steelworker with A-K Steel in Ashland, KY. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife,of 69 years, Mary Arrowood Preston; three brothers, George, Bobby Joe, and Charles Preston; a grandson, Barry Blackburn.
He is survived by two sons, Paul and Scott Preston both of Grayson, KY; two daughters, Sue Blackburn, and Marcia Davis both of Grayson, KY; three brothers, Jimmy (Christine) Preston, Gary (Patty) Preston both of Columbus, OH, and Teddy Preston of Louisa, KY; four grandchildren, Leslie Herzog(Steve) of Ashland, KY, Larry Davis, Chase and Madison Preston all of Grayson; seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Brent Duncan and John Brown, ministers. Burial will follow at the Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, KY.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 13, 2018, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
