Obituary for John H Church John Church, 82, of Lawrence County, KY passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. Mr. Church was born July 18, 1935 in Denton, KY to the late John Edward and Murl Marie Queen Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Gollihue Church; two brothers, Jim and Charles Church.
Mr. Church was of the Christian faith and was self-employed as a Core Driller. He is survived by a son, Johnny C. (Janet) Church of Willard; two daughters, Debbie (James Lee) Porter of Webbville and Rhonda (Michael) Colley of Denton; three brothers, Joe Church of Willard, Eddie Church of Lawrence County, and Luke Church of Carter County; a sister, Thella Allen of Denton; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Church Family Cemetery on All Horn Branch at Denton.
Serving as pallbearers will be Shannon Porter, John Porter, Jacob Barker, Larkin Porter, Walter Prince, and Scott Smith. Online condolences may be made at www. sparksfh.com.
