Obituary for James Gary Young James Gary Young 1945-2018 Jim Young, 72 of Lewis County, formerly of Grayson, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 at his residence. He was born February 4, 1945 in Denton, KY a son of the late Thurman Carlton and Shirley Glancy Young. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Eddie Young; a sister, Imogene Griffith, and a grandson, John Eric Owens .

He had been employed by the Big Sandy Water Company and the Grayson Utilities Department. He is survived by three sons, James Hubert (Debbie) Romans of Mansfield, OH, Jeff (Annie) Young of Prestonsburg, KY and Steve Young of Georgia; two daughters, Maxine Owens and Melinda Young both of Grayson; two brothers, Bobby Lee Young and Thurman Junior Young both of Grayson; two sisters, Shirley Waugh and Katherine Allen both of Grayson; his long time companion, Christine Riley of Lewis County, KY; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren Graveside service will be Friday, August 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fairview Cemetery, Ray Simmons and George Boggs ministers.
