Obituary for Patricia Gail Evans (Waugh) Patricia Gail Waugh Evans 1939-2018 Patricia Evans, 78, of Grayson passed away, Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at her residence. She was born December 27, 1939 in Grayson, KY a daughter of the late Clayton and Inez Sammons Waugh. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Gail Evans; and a grandson, Austin Linsey Evans Martin.

Patricia loved her family and loved God. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading the Bible, singing hymns, being outdoors, and gardening. She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker and mother.

She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 60 years, John Evans, Jr.; a son, John William Evans (Rebecca Burton) of South Shore, KY; a granddaughter, Dr. Katie Evans (Dr. Davis Harbour) of Ruston, LA; a grandson, Charles Shaffer; and great-grandchildren, Arabella Gail Evans and Graydon Harbour Evans. Graveside services will be Friday, December 21, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the East Carter County Memory Gardens in Grayson, KY, Joed Rice, minister. Visitation will be an hour before the service at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson.
