Paul “Freddie” Collins Obituary Paul “Freddie” Collins, 79, made the journey to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. He was born on June 27, 1938 in Holden, WV to the late John Henry and Lyla Veatta Bartoe Collins. On November 6th, 1958, he married Shirley Sutherland in Logan, WV.

Freddie was passionate about his calling to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ, sharing the love of God and for him there was nothing better than spending quality time with his family and loved ones.

Freddie was a member of Local Union #17 of the UMWA. Survivors include brothers Dave Collins and James Collins; Daughters Vicki Collins, Katrina (Andrew) Conley, Shelba Watkins, Tonia (Bobby) Lukacs, April (Teddy) Hagy; grandchildren Paul (Bia) Watkins, Clarissa (Mark) Bryant, Jamie (Kristie) Watkins, Deanna Watkins, Andrea Carter, Amy (Dawyd) Hines, Carrie (Greg) Linker, Bobby (Britiany) Lukacs, Travis Lukacs, Betsy Lukacs, Jimmy Hagy, Sara Hagy; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; an abundance of nieces and nephews; and several others he claimed as his own. A time of gathering and celebration of his life will be held on Friday April 27, 2018 from 12PM – 2PM, with services starting at 2:00 PM at #7 Freewill Baptist Church in Holden, WV.

With Pastor Rodney Spears and Bishop Anthony Hudgins officiating. Freddie will be laid to rest at the Forrest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill, WV.
