Pauline Medley Porter August 29, 1928 – February 11, 2019 Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Pauline Porter Gaffney, SC – – Pauline Medley Porter, 90, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of the late Roy S. Porter and daughter of the late Cleve Medley and Ila Reynolds Medley. She was a homemaker and a very active member of Corinth Baptist Church.

She loved her Lord, her family, and her Church. Surviving are a daughter, Jane Blanton and husband, Scott of Gaffney; two brothers, Lee Medley and wife, Velma, and Thomas Medley and wife, Jolene, both of Gaffney; three sisters, Lois Mullinax, Frances Childers and Julia Swanger, all of Gaffney; six grandchildren, Brian Blanton, Kim McSwain, Paula Collins, Kevin Porter and wife, Marion, Christy Quinn and husband, Eric, and Derek Pruitt and wife, Erica; seven great-grandchildren, Magen Blanton, David McSwain and wife, Samantha, Logan McSwain, Emma Collins, Mason Collins, Erika Quinn and Noah Quinn; seven great-great grandchildren, Jayden Blanton, Adriyanna (A.J.) Jones, Grayson Wilkie, Kennedy Wycoff, Braxton McSwain, Gatlin Pruitt and Kaimen Pruitt. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenny Porter, three brothers, Ralph Medley, Dolphus Medley and William Medley, and three sisters, Mary Bell Murray, Lula Gathings and Eunice Medley.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Corinth Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 PM at the Church with Dr. Dwight Easler and Rev. Clifford Phillips officiating.

Interment will be in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Corinth Baptist Church, 190 Corinth Road, Gaffney, SC 29340. The family will be at the home of Scott & Jane Blanton, 317 Sarratt School Road, Gaffney.
