Mrs. Pauline Spellman, age 79 of Franklin, KY, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 8:25 AM at her residence. Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 17, 2019 with burial to follow in the Restlawn Memory Gardens in Simpson Co., KY. Pauline was born July 27, 1939 in Simpson Co., KY to the late Paul Cantrell and the late Ruby Alford Cantrell.

She was the wife of the late Lee Spellman. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Brenda Rust and Teresa Cox, and a son, Timmy Boyd. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Barton of Franklin, KY, 4 grandchildren, Melinda Graves (Tommy) of Franklin, KY, Tony Boyd of Franklin, KY, Dustin Barton (Jessica) of Franklin, KY, and Kenny Cox of Colorado, 5 great-grandchildren, Roxanne Graves, Madison Boyd, Hayleigh Boyd, Ashton Cox and Kendall Cox.

Pauline worked various jobs in her younger years. She delivered newspapers, waitressed, and worked in factories. Pauline had a huge heart for animals and loved going to yard sales.

Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday, March 15, 2019 , from 6:00 AM until 9:00 PM Saturday, March 16, 2019, and from 6:00 AM until time of service Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made www.
