Pearl G Felix PEARL G. FELIX POTSDAM – Mrs. Pearl G. Felix, 95, a longtime resident of Raymondville and State Highway 11, passed away early Monday morning, April 23, 2018 at Massena Memorial Hospital. Pearl was born March 16, 1923 in Massena, the daughter of the late Emery and Ida (Queor) Mossow and attended rural schools in Helena. Pearl, along with her late husband, operated Felix’s General Store on Holmes Hill from 1961 until their retirement.

She also did private laundry and home cleaning in the Raymondville area for many years. She was a longtime member of the American Legion Post #514 Ladies Auxiliary in Winthrop. Pearl loved to listen and dance to country music, do jigsaw and crossword puzzles, crafting and crocheting, reading, and cooking for her family.

She cherished the memories she made while traveling to Maine and the family gatherings. She took great pride in her spotless home. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Ferne and Thomas Lord of Winthrop; Gale “Bud” Felix of Norfolk; Richard and Wilma Felix of Syracuse; twins, Keith and Joanne Felix of Potsdam and Karen and Wayne Jock of Brasher Falls; a daughter-in-law, Roseanna Felix of Winthrop; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Wayne Felix on March 27, 2015; grandsons, Brian “Pete” Felix, Matthew Lord, and Scott Felix; a great grandson, Corey Jock; two sisters, Rose Villnave and Nora Thompson; and five brothers, Francis, Clarence, William, Lawrence, and Emery “Hank” Mossow. Friends may call Monday 2-4:00 and 6-8:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, where funeral services will be held Tuesday 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Raymondville Cemetery.
