Pedro was born on December 4, 1946 in Harlingen, Texas to Jesus & Maria Gomez Pena. He is preceded in death by his brother, Manuel Pena; sister, Felicitas Pena Aguilar; and parents, Jesus & Maria Pena.

Pedro is survived by his loving family to cherish his wonderful memory, his beloved wife of 52 years, Graciela M. Pena; children, Dr. Pedro Javier Pena, Ida Ann Martinez (Johnny), Michael Joseph Pena, & James Aaron Pena (Maribel); grandchildren, Christian Javier Pena, Aidan Pedro Pena, Stephen Daniel Roy, Devin Matthew Roy, Rhiannon Nicole Roy, Aaron Norel Pena; siblings, Petra Sanchez, Frances Martinez (Carlos), Dolores Pena, Biada Galvan (Rudy), Leila Pena, Martin Pena, Tomas Pena (Janie), & Ramiro Pena, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the prayer of the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Chapel. A funeral mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, January 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church.

Interment will follow to Harlingen-Combes Memorial Park Cemetery in Combes, Texas. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Stephen Daniel Roy, Devin Matthew Roy, Rick Martinez, Rick Marin, Orlando Lopez, & Dylan Orsini. Honorary Pallbearers will be Christian Javier Pena and Aidan Pedro Pena.
