Peggy Ann Langham, beloved wife, mother, grand-mother and sister passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus as she slept at her home in Blue Ridge, Texas on the morning of April 11, 2018. She was looking forward to seeing her son Donald and her parents again. She was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Mildred Kurtz and one son, Donald Christopher Langham.

Peggy was born October 30, 1945 in Santa Maria, CA to the late Donald and Mildred Kurtz. She graduated from Santa Maria High School in 1965. After meeting the love of her life, she married Kenneth Langham Sr on February 7, 1969.

They moved to San Antonio, Texas and raised their family. There she worked for Central Freight Lines until moving to Blue Ridge in 1990. Ken and Peggy opened Bonham Service Center in 1993 where she kept the books, waited on customers and answered the phones.

She loved to be outside working in her many flower beds where she had multiple bird feeders and houses so she could watch and learn about them. Peggy was an artist and painted several landscapes. She loved animals especially her late Shih tzu, Rags and her Australian Shepard Boggie.

She loved her family who were the center of her life. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth of the home; son, Jeff Langham of San Antonio, Texas, daughter, Paula King of Maumelle, Arkansas, son and daughter-in-law Ken and Jeania Langham of Whitewright, Texas; Granddaughters Ashlee Langham of China Grove, Texas, Carlee Langham of La Vernia, Texas, Kristee Langham of San Antonio, Texas; Grandsons Trinity Aikens of Austin, Texas, Grant King of Maumelle, Arkansas, Kolby and Kody Langham of Whitewright, Texas; sister and brother-in-law Kay and Terry Simpson of Pendleton, Oregon, brother Marion Kurtz of Echo, Oregon; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Nancy and Frank Brown of Frisco, Texas and Camille(late) and Sonny McCarley of Blue Ridge, Texas; 3 great grandsons and several beloved nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held at Blue Ridge Cemetery on Saturday, April 28th at 11:00 am.

Her brother, Marion Kurtz will be officiating.
