Ronald Wayne Hopson, 38, of Quinlan went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at his residence. Memorial services celebrating Ronald’s life will be held at a later date. Ronald was born on August 22, 1979 in Huntington, Indiana.

He is the son of Susan Elaine Swearer and the late Harley Wayne Hopson. He was raised in Indiana, Florida and Greenville, Texas. He graduated from Caddo Mills High School class of 1997.

He attended A & M Commerce and a certified Fire Fighter. Ronald was also preceded in death by his grandmother Vera Hopson. He worked as a fire fighter and at L-3.

He enjoyed video games and camping. He is loved and will be missed by his mother Susan Elaine Swearer-Minor and step-father Alvie Minor Jr. of Quinlan; brother Jonathon Hopson and wife Jessica of Las Cruses, NM, nieces Makynzye, Haley, Aubrey; nephews Joseph, Coleman and Levi; and former wife Amanda Barbee Hopson.
