Obituary for Peggy Manning Private family services were held for Peggy J. (nee Simpson) Manning, 86, of Concord Township. Mrs. Manning passed away Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at Kemper House in Highland Heights.
Born Feb. 14, 1932, in Charlotte, N.C., she had lived in Chardon before moving to Lake County more than 20 years ago. Peggy was a former square dancer and loved square dancing.
She was the loving mother of Lee Manning Schoeppler (Candice), and Shelley C. (Robert) O’Callahan; cherished grandmother of Rachel (Andrew), Kelly, Erin, Marissa, Kelsey (Matthew) and Josephine; and great-grandmother of Lilah, Gracie and Shepard. Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward E. Manning in 2017; granddaughter, Deanna; and parents, George W. and Lee (nee Bennett) Simpson. Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
